United States Military Academy West Point New York

Tuition, Fees, and Estimated Student Expenses

Estimated Expenses for Full-time Beginning Undergraduate Students
  • Beginning students are those who are entering postsecondary education for the first time.
  • No detailed yearly expense data available.
  • Tuition is covered by a full scholarship for all students who attend West Point. All students are on Active Duty Status as members of the U.S. Army and receive an annual salary of approximately $10,150. Room and board, medical and dental care are provided by the U.S. Army; however, a one-time deposit of $2,000 is required upon admission in order to defray the initial cost of uniforms, books, supplies, equipment and fees. A cadet’s salary pays for uniforms, activities, services, books, sundries, and other personal services.
