Criteria, Processes, Factors, and Procedures Used in Admissions
(Data appear as originally submitted by this school)
Full-time traditional two-year and full-time accelerated programs: Applicants are evaluated in three areas: intellectual vitality, demonstrated leadership potential, and personal qualities and contributions. The Admissions Committee considers an applicant’s academic profile, essays, and three recommendations. There is no quantitative formula for admission.
Executive program: Stanford programs are designed for senior-level executives with at least 10 years of management experience. Participants are expected to digest large amounts of reading material, contribute to group discussions, and articulate informed positions. Submitted applications are reviewed by the faculty director and admissions committee. Successful applicants are notified within 3 weeks of the deadline.
