Criteria, Processes, Factors, and Procedures Used in Admissions

Full-time traditional two-year and full-time accelerated programs: Applicants must have a 4-yr bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and be fluent in English. 24 months of post-college work experience is recommended. Applicants must submit an online application and: app fee, 2 letters of recommendation, 3 essays, Univ. transcripts, GMAT, TOEFL (for int’l students), and resume. Applications are reviewed holistically. Interviews are by invite only.
Executive program: Applicants must have a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, minimum of five years work experience (average is 12 years), and English language fluency. Applications are considered holistically with particular attention to essays, work history and responsibilities, post-M.B.A. goals, prior academic performance, letters of recommendation, honors, achievements, and test scores.
Part-time program: Applicants to the Texas Evening Program must have: the equivalent of a 4-year U.S. bachelor’s degree, at least 2 years work experience, current employment, and fluency in the English language. The admissions committee considers the following components of the application: personal essays, work history, post-M.B.A. goals, prior academic performance, letters of recommendation, and GMAT test scores.
